Jesse N. Peterman, O.D.

Dr. Jesse Peterman practices full-scope optometry including the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. His goal is to provide superior eye care to all of his patients.

Dr. Peterman joined Palatine Vision Center in 2024. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology Honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He then received his Doctor of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Dr. Peterman practices full-scope optometry, including diagnosis and management of ocular diseases such as dry eye disease and glaucoma. He is experienced in fitting a wide variety of contact lenses, including multifocal lenses and gas-permeable lenses. He is certified in methods of myopia control, including the fitting of MiSight and CRT lenses. Dr. Peterman enjoys getting to know his patients to be able to provide the most personalized recommendations for his patients' visual and ocular health.

Dr. Peterman is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He has served as an Associate Professor at Illinois College of Optometry for several years.

Dr. Peterman lives in Hoffman Estates with his wife, Meredith, and twin boys, Nicholas and Andrew. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, and traveling.
